Sweet Sixteen

When you were 16, what did you think your life would look like? Does it look like that? Is that a good thing?

I have to admit, I didn’t think that my life would turn out well at all when I was that age. Things were difficult for me in school. It was hard for me to focus on my work and being open with people. My whole mindset was quite bleak with no light at the end of the tunnel.

In my final year I made a decision, I was to get my GCSEs sorted and get the hell out of Dodge. So I got my qualifications and never looked back. Things now look a lot better, I’m in a much happier place than back then. I’m not really satisfied with how things are panning out but I am working on changing all that, one step at a time.

That said I’m enjoying life and making use of what I’ve got already. Which I think is the best plan of action, at least for the time being.
