Chris Bennett, a very talented local photographer invited me to assist on a test shoot. It was very fascinating to see him work his magic during the day. He was really in the zone and knew exactly what he was going for. We had a model with a punk rock look and that made for some interesting shots.
Once again I was out recently helping a student with her photography project. Bubbles were a key factor in this shoot with me firing off a bubble gun and various accessories to help create youthful and retro looking images.
In an effort to expand my portfolio, I answered a few casting calls online and luckily one came through. It can be challenging working with new people and scenarios but I found it very rewarding in the end where it counts.
Last week, I was lucky to attend a shoot done by Rebekha Tunney, a local student photographer with some of her friends. The shoot was at Birmingham Botanical Gardens and worked as a brilliant location for the shoot. We all had a blast and got some great work done as a result despite the humid conditions of the greenhouses. It was very inspiring to watch the whole creative process come to life.
